Job Details
The HR Business Partner will undertake the role of strategic planner, facilitator, coach, expert advisor and project manager, influencing cultural and organisational change. Reporting to the Deputy Director of HR & Organisational Development and working within a broader HR team, this role will focus on the delivery of strategic HR, ensuring HR resource and practice is aligned to the University’s strategic and operational requirements. The remit is to build strong and effective relationships as an internal member of senior leadership teams in Faculties and Professional Services, and within the HR Department.
Contributing to the development and delivery of the University’s People Strategy, you will be experienced in successfully leading on and supporting the implementation and co-ordination of key projects. You will have the drive, experience and professional credibility to deliver quality HR services within an environment that fosters high achievement within a community of learning.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate key attributes including strategic thinking, coaching and facilitation skills, managing difference, conflict handling and resolution. Experience of managing HR outcomes in a diverse and complex organisation, broad knowledge of the latest HR developments and managing significant people and change projects is highly desirable.
In person, the ability to influence, a willingness to share best practice and a commitment to personal and team development will be backed up by chartered membership of the CIPD.
