Northamptonshire Police is responsible for policing the county of Northamptonshire, covering 914 square miles with a population of around 683,800 and is committed to 'Putting Communities First'. Officers and staff work with communities, partner organisations and behind the scenes to keep communities safe and bring offenders to justice.
Police officers and staff operate from the Police Headquarters and police stations based in Brackley, Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Oundle, Northampton, Rushden, Wellingborough, alongside some of the county's major routes into the county.
To direct and develop a comprehensive range of HRM Strategies, policies and HR services to support the overall direction of the business objectives.
To provide strategic advice and guidance to Northamptonshire Police and OPCFC as requested by Chief Officers and OPCFC
Provide leadership in the continuous development and implementation of a HR and organisational development strategy to ensure that the Force has a workforce which is shaped to deliver the its’ objectives in changing and challenging external environment.
Develop and continuously improve Human Resources to provide centres of excellence which provide measurable added value to Northamptonshire Police Force.
Providing leadership and management to the HR Team ensuring appropriate outcomes for the areas of responsibility including working collaboratively with regional units.
