Organisational and Staff Development Coordinator
The HR Department provides a professional support service to employees of the Central University. Our committed team undertakes a wealth of activities in relation to employee relations, payroll, pensions, recruitment and organisational and staff development.
The Organisational & Staff Development (OSD) team support organisational, team and individual learning that underpins our strategic aims. This is achieved by activities such as the development and delivery of learning programmes, supporting appraisal, and by facilitating wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
We are seeking an OSD Coordinator who will play a key role in the OSD team and lead on a variety of activities and programmes. You will have responsibility for leading on two of our high profile events Wellbeing Week and Learning at Work Week, lead a range of programmes including Aurora and mandatory training, provide administrative support (including financial) for both internal and external training courses, act as the first point of contract for learning and development related queries, and have responsibility for all OSD related reporting and evaluation.
To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate a successful track record of planning and organising events and managing a high volume of emails. You will be someone with the ability to plan and deliver projects, be a confident communicator able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and have excellent attention to detail.
