We are looking for an Associate Director of People and Development to join our dynamic, forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team and take responsibility for all workforce matters including HR and Learning and Development.

In this position, you will be a trusted adviser/confidant to our CEO, providing professional advice to our Executive Team on highly complex HR matters, and be responsible for the development and delivery of professional HR advice and workforce services across Bromley Healthcare. This comprises the management of the Business Partnering lead, the Recruitment and Retention lead, the Learning and Development lead and the Workforce Information lead. You will also work closely with the Health roster lead.

You’ll play a key role in aligning staffing capacity and capability to our vision and strategic objectives, implementing best HR practice and ensuring that we are seen as an employer of choice; able to attract, retain and develop high-performing staff that share our values.

At Bromley Healthcare CIC, we form part of the NHS family as an NHS community provider. However, we are a little different: we like to think that we stand out from typical NHS organisations as we are actually a co-owned social enterprise, co-owned by our employees. This means that our staff remain on NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions and are members of the NHS pension scheme (providing you are eligible); if not, we can offer the Nest or Scottish Widows pension schemes.

What difference does this make? Because our Nurses, therapists and support staff co-own Bromley Healthcare CIC and have a real say in how our services are run, this has created a greater sense of ownership, responsibility and motivation among our staff which in turn creates better quality for our patients and families.

Benefits include various pension schemes, discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme, discounted electronics, opportunity to apply for low interest personal loans and an excellent lease car scheme.
