HR Volunteering Task / Role: Streamlining and administration of personnel filing, including substantive staff, volunteers and eventually people using the service. Potential for further activity.

Overview of task / role: Creation (with guidance and support) of appropriate files for individuals and for recruitment and other administrative activities; Refinement and arranging for the shredding of out of date or unnecessary paperwork.

One off task or ongoing? Both – it is one large task made up of several ongoing activities that will take some time to complete and may well generate further activities.

Time Commitment: Negotiable and reviewable, possibly several half days (or full days) to enable continuity.

Location: Mind, 3 Mill Bay, Folkestone, Kent

Work Remotely? No

Any other Info: They are in the process of radically overhauling their recording and filing systems starting with the most urgent in order to achieve full compliance acknowledging GDPR as well as good and safe practice. Their Director of Comms and Tech will be leading on this, supported by the rest of the SMT and existing admin team, so there is plenty of support and advice available. For reasons of confidentiality and sensitivity at the least a current DBS is required.
