This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Professional who has reward and pay experience to join a large and well-established organisation in North Yorkshire with fantastic benefits.


Description

This is great opportunity for HR candidates who have had some experience of reward or worked on reward projects previously.

Key areas of responsibility are to work closely with the Head of HR focused on a large pay & reward review project and the priorities

* Lead a review of current pay and grading structure to move towards a new system and to oversee the transition to the new pay and grading structure.
* Provide advice and guidance on pay, reward and grading policy and its application corporately and in individual cases
* Ensure compliance with legal and governmental requirements
* Play a leading role when consulting/negotiating with the unions on pay and grading matters and annual pay remits/awards
* Support in the development and implementation of the pay and reward strategy
* Provide generalist HR advise and support to support the People Strategy


Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

* Demonstrable HR expertise and experience within reward, equal pay and job evaluation
* Knowledge of pay and grading practice and issues
* Sound analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
* Ability to produce innovative and modernising solutions
* HR experience in the public sector - desirable
* Trained in job evaluation
* CIPD qualified


Job Offer
