Join a newly appointed HR Director who at the start of a journey to redefine the people function of a highly successful business.

If you want to work with an HR Director who will seek your ideas and values creativity, who will trust you and give you the authority and autonomy that you need and that will support your professional development, this could be ideal.

Working for a highly successful and commercial group, one that has a social purpose and positive social impact, you will be responsible for supporting stakeholders at sites across the UK. There are big plans to transform the HR proposition, so alongside supporting your population with the day to day ER and HR operations, you will be instrumental in supporting the creation of, and then rolling out, a wide range of initiatives. Currently on the horizon are projects covering: recruitment, talent management, leadership development, reward, culture, internal comm's, OD and engagement, so you'll enjoy variety and have the opportunity to get involved across the HR spectrum.

In order to support the company to embed more sophisticated HR practices, it's important that you know 'what good looks like' so you, most likely will have operated in a more sophisticated HR environment, but will relish the opportunity to go back to basics and bring others on a journey to develop best practice. You'll appreciate the challenges of supporting a multi-site population and you'll be comfortable advising and coaching at all levels. You'll be confident in the advice you give from an ER perspective and have current knowledge of UK employment legislation (experience of TUPE would be great also). Importantly, you'll be someone that takes a pragmatic view and is able to get things done.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor looking for their first step into a BR role, or an experienced BP that is looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you if you'd like to find out more.
