Our vision for HR in Rutland is to support the Council to deliver excellence in people management – we genuinely want our people to be the best they can be.

This new role will lead a small dedicated resourcing team focusing on achieving the very best in recruitment and workforce development – plus support the Head of HR with the design and delivery of developmental and value added HR Services.

We would like you to be able to offer a broad range of HR experience with credibility and confidence to operate across the organisation at a senior level, and deputise for the Head of HR. As well as experience in leading HR and recruitment programmes, you should have some solid experience in managing complex and challenging employee relations cases.

Your interpersonal skills are equally important including, coaching, facilitating, pragmatism – supported by well-developed IT skills in order to produce creative and innovative plans, proposals and reports.
