Why is this HR Adviser better than any other? Because it’s part of a great team in a great organisation in a great place – Rutland. And it’s a place where you can work a bit differently – we want you to bring that something special that means we can stretch boundaries. Your focus will be on:

  • Supporting case work and Employee Relations and upskilling our managers to manage people management issues
  • Policy Development – bringing a pragmatic style to design and accessibility
  • Advisory - developing creative solutions to HR issues, balancing legislative requirements and business needs
  • Job Evaluation – modernising our whole approach to JE, introducing job families and designing career grade structures
  • Working collaboratively across the HR team to deliver great HR.

Along with a relevant HR qualification, you will have extensive experience as an HR Adviser/HR Business Partner. We need you to drive outcomes and ensure timely solutions. Previous experience of shaping HR Policy, managing case work and a pragmatic solution focussed approach to delivering HR advice are essential. Equally important are your analytical and creative thinking skills, plus excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
