HR Advisor - Shrewsbury and Telford

Your new company

My client are a highly successful accountancy practice with offices in Shrewsbury and Telford and a client portfolio of over 2000 local businesses. Following the continued success of their HR service offering, they are now looking to hire an additional experienced HR Advisor to join their team to provide 50% internal and 50% external HR support to their client base.

Your new role

Working 4 days a week from the Shrewsbury Head Office and 1 day at their Telford site, you will report into the HR and Development Manager working alongside another experienced HR Advisor.

You will provide HR Advice and Support for portfolio of External Clients ranging from SME's to medium sized companies across a wide range of industry sectors. You will travel locally to clients sites as and when required.

You will support with Internal Recruitment and Training, assist with delivering Internal Training programme and have responsibility for updating HR policies and procedures.

As HR Advisor you will also have responsibility for updating Health and Safety and Wellbeing policies, supporting the other HR Advisor with the processing the monthly payroll and giving HR Advice and Support for internal team.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have a strong generalist HR skill set with strong D & G, absence management, recruitment and internal training expertise. As the role will be client facing, you must be confident working across all levels and in a diverse range of industry sectors with excellent relationship building experience.

You will ideally be CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified, although relevant experience will also be considered.

What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of £25,000-£30,000 plus a bonus of c£1500-£2000 per annum, dependant on business performance. There is also the option for study support for the right candidate.
