Senior HR Business Partner

Your new company
As the HR Business Partner you will lead on the development and delivery of HR function. This will ensure that the public sector organisation attracts, develops and retains diverse and talented people, and that people across the organisation are confident and capable to use the products, services, policies, processes and technology they have at work.

Your new role

* Business partner with agreed areas of the business that span over the UK. Providing advice & guidance and driving HR initiatives in support of the business strategy.

* Maintain good organisational awareness to drive and support talent management within the business partnering areas.

* Ensure local employment laws are adhered to and implement appropriate employee relation processes.

* Provide full recruitment service to the business areas for all vacancies.
* Lead/participate in HR related projects as required.

What you'll need to succeed

* Demonstrate a general understanding of HR/payroll/ benefits
* Demonstrable employee relations skills and experience
* Demonstrate a good working knowledge of employment law for each location, with the ability to accurately interpret company policies and procedures and know when to escalate queries
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and lead projects as required
* Well organised, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
* Computer literate, with the ability to understand and effectively use a number of different internal databases/systems
* Demonstrate effective communication and strong influencing skills
* Team player, who is approachable and flexible
