This HR Director role represents a unique opportunity to join a well known international brand at a pivotal stage in their development. With a proven track record of sustained success alongside highly ambitious growth plans, they seek a true HR leader to understand current the business state, and drive an effective HR strategy which embraces commercial ambitions balanced with employee needs.

As HR Director, this role will work in synergy with the senior leadership team to drive and implement a commercial, value added HR strategy. Fostering a culture of high standards, you will provide effective leadership and motivation throughout the business in order to deliver a customer centric HR service, providing the very best outcomes for the organisation and employees.

This first class opportunity represents a full generalist senior HR role, with a key focus on driving industry leading, best practice HR procedures & processes, challenging current state to ensure continuous improvement and leading and developing projects that will support future organisational growth including acquisitions. Additionally, there will be a focus on talent, management development programmes and succession management, supporting individuals to develop and maximise their potential and promoting a high performing culture.

A graduate & a minimum MCIPD qualified, the successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing HR strategy and delivering operational excellence in HR within a multi-site, complex, fast moving commercial environment. A natural change agent & coach, you will possess a sophisticated range of communication, influencing & stakeholder management skills, and will be particularly adept at designing and implementing effective, commercial HR solutions that deliver tangible bottom line results. Experience of motivating and leading a team and managing and driving positive culture change to drive employee engagement is key.

Based from Cardiff, the role will involve significant travel to London in the initial months.
