Learning and Development Manager

Samaritans are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to help build and embed new cutting-edge development to help lead change in the organisation.  It is an exciting time to work in the team as we moving to a more blended approach to the development we offer, combining great quality face to face content with innovative digital approaches to ensure our staff and volunteers get the development they need at the right time for them.  You will be required to lead and deliver Learning and Development projects, building strong working relationships with staff and volunteers at all levels of the organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience of leading projects and creating high quality learning materials.  They will ideally be CIPD qualified with a willingness to try new approaches, experiment and encourage others to do the same.  We are looking for someone flexible in their approach as there will be occasional travel and weekend working.  This role is a unique opportunity to influence how we move the development of our people forward, working with a well-recognised charity to help realise our vision that fewer people die by suicide.

Our Location

Our Central Office is located in a converted mill in Ewell, Surrey which is just over 30-minutes by train from Waterloo and 15 minutes from Wimbledon.
