Human Resources Advisor / Employee Relations

Our client’s Employee Relations team are based at their Head Office in South Molton and now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations / HR Advisor to join them.
Being the first point of contact for ER (Employee Relations) / HR related queries, you will provide advice and guidance to managers and employees and work closely with other members of the People and Organisational Development (POD) team to ensure all relevant administration and processes are in place to provide a seamless HR service. You will also be required to review, update and draft new Company employment policies & POD procedures as well as any ad-hoc HR projects or tasks as directed to support the department's objectives.
The successful candidate will hold a CIPD Level 3, or equivalent qualification and will have proven experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment. With excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, you will have the ability to successfully consult and challenge in a constructive way and will be confident with resolving issues in potentially difficult situations. A pragmatic, practical and business-focused approach to your work is essential coupled with the ability to assess your own workload and change your priorities at short notice. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence, as while the role is predominantly office-based, some travel to our retail stores may be required from time to time.
