DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE AND CULTURE REF: ALC893

The Director of People and Culture will lead on all People matters and be responsible for the achievement of the University’s strategic aims through its workforce. Leading and managing the HR Division, you will ensure the delivery of an effective, efficient, empowering and enabling sector-leading HR service for the University. Our HR Division includes the Equality and Diversity and Staff Development teams.
You will be responsible for articulating and leading the alignment of the University and People Strategy, and overseeing all HR processes including succession planning, recruitment, performance management, staff development and welfare, organisational design and reward and recognition polices in support of this.
You will have a relevant qualification at degree level or above; or equivalent experience in a directly relevant senior level role and be a Chartered Member of CIPD. Significant senior experience in a complex organisation and of working at a strategic level is essential.
This post is available on a full time, indefinite basis from June 2019.
