Berkshire Healthcare helps people manage their health in their local area, through a range of specialist and community services across the county. We promote independence and quality of life through community and mental health services and aim for seamless delivery of the best care in the right place.
We value our employees and put our people first, so the health and wellbeing agenda is a key priority for us. Working with the senior leadership team across the Trust, you will provide the expertise that will help us support the implementation of our new Health, Wellbeing & Engagement Strategy and deliver its action plan.
Based at Upton Hospital, Slough, you’ll be leading the work to improve staff engagement and attendance levels with a focus on reducing sickness absence particularly mental health related absence and staff turnover.
To achieve this you’ll need to coach and up skill our line managers to improve their confidence and capability in relation to managing, particularly in activities that influence the health, wellbeing and engagement of our people.
The key measure for this newly established role is to make this a great place to work for everyone and to make a demonstrable difference in our staff survey results.
In addition to a competitive salary, as a valued member of our team you will receive generous annual leave, have access to a car salary sacrifice scheme (available to all permanent staff over the age of 21), support with childcare and, as a respected member of the NHS, discounts from high street retailers and restaurants.
If you share our passion for people and the dedication to excel, we’d love to hear from you – and we are happy to answer any questions that you may have. Please don’t hesitate to call Tracey Slegg on 07824 821844 who’ll be delighted to help.
We’d love to welcome you to our warm, friendly team, who want to help you to make your career reflect your ambitions.
