Senior HR Officer – Generalist

Salary Circa £29K Full Time, Full Year with flexible working arrangements

This is a rare opportunity to provide expert knowledge and advice in relation to all employee matters and managing complex case work. You will proactively share best practice with managers and HR colleagues; coach and support managers with particularly sensitive matters such as absence, performance, grievance and conduct.

Working closely with Senior Leadership Teams across the Red Kite Learning Trust, this is an exciting time to join at such an important point in our development. Working to a shared HR plan, supporting our 13 schools with a significant influence on school improvement, you will have responsibility for certain operational HR activities and take a lead on case work being the first point of contact for a small group of schools.

You will need to be CIPD L7 qualified and notably have the experience of working in a similar unionised setting, with nationally determined T&Cs and ideally have successful experience in the Education Sector. To be successful in the role, you will be confident in your HR/employment law knowledge and of course have the highest interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.

There is flexibility for you to be based at either our Leeds or Harrogate HR Hub, but the role will require you to travel to other schools across our Trust.
