Senior Human Resources Adviser

Post Number: HRU5 Grade: POA, Salary: £32,029 - £34,788 per annum

37 hours per week

Fixed term for 12 month

This is a busy and challenging role that will provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to work corporately to achieve strategic objectives and work effectively with service managers and build links with other partnership organisations. You will balance this work with your own day-to-day caseload which will be varied and include advising and assisting managers on more complex sickness management, disciplinary, capability and grievance issues. You will also work in partnership with the HR Manager to deliver projects and develop policies and management training with a particular focus on absence management in the first instance.

You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of employment law and up to date employment practices and be able to demonstrate ongoing continual professional development.  You will have the ability to quickly develop a good working relationship and credibility with managers as well as giving sound, practical advice resolving problems. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to persuade others. You must CIPD qualified at level 7 and have significant previous experience.
