Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this highly specialised / niche Organisation based near Abingdon / Didcot to recruit a talented and experienced HR Strategy Manager on a permanent basis. The role is ideally full time however 4 days (pro-rata on salary) will also be considered for the right person.

Reporting to the Head of HR you will be responsible for delivering the HR strategy to develop the organisation to achieve its corporate goals. We are looking for a candidate to lead a team of strategic specialists across a range of disciplines; EDI, Pay & Reward, OD and strategic HR business partnering, to deliver the people strategy (a strategy for the organisation that delivers an effective, efficient and reliant workforce), including culture change for successful business growth.

Accountabilities:

* Responsible for supporting the Head of HR in setting the HR strategy.
* Lead and manage a team of strategic HR specialists; Business Partners, Pay & Reward, OD Specialist and EDI Champion. This will include recruiting, development planning, performance management building a culture of continuous improvement to increase the effectiveness and support the team to manage their work plan.
* Act as the strategic HR champion ensuring HR led projects get organisational buy in. This will involve negotiating and influencing senior managers.
* Responsible for supporting the specialists within the team to produce and deliver effective organisational change through all aspects within their specialist roles.
* Responsible for developing and supporting the specialists to partner strategically with the organisation, ensuring effective, efficient and consistent collaboration within the department and across the organisation.
* Support the Business Partners and OD specialist to work closely with the HR Advisors.
* Support the HR Operations Manager to deliver an effective employee relations service where Advisors will work closely with Business Partners to ensure legal compliance and effective ER solutions.
* Lead the long-term resource planning with support from the team and wider department.
* Responsible for managing and supporting strategic projects including scoping, design and delivery.
* Responsible for supporting the team to develop annual work plans for each of their strategic areas.
* Responsible for ensuring the delivery of specialist people services is achieved in line with corporate behavioural expectations.
* Work with unions and employee representative groups, influencing as appropriate.
* Lead the specialist team effectively to ensure they are consistent in their approach.
* Champion diversity and inclusion in all areas of people strategy.

Qualifications and skills:

* Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience
* CIPD Qualified to L7 (Diploma) or willing to work towards
* Experience of working at a strategic level
* Confident to deliver presentations and attend senior level meetings
* Experience of developing strategic priorities and using those priorities to enable culture change
* Strong influencing skills, able to challenge robustly
* Good external networking skills
* Creative in finding solutions to support the organisation to achieve its goals
* Enthusiastic and motivational
