Your new company

My client are a successful accountancy and business services practice with an office network across Shropshire and an impressive and diverse client base. Following a period of significant expansion and new client wins, they now have a requirement for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team to offer services internally and externally to their customer base.

Your new role

Supporting the HR Manager you will assist in delivery of HR business objectives, assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and provide advisory services to Partners and Line Managers on employment related issues Communication:

You will assist in the development of staff intranet in conjunction with marketing team, update the staff portal with people related news.

Recruitment:


* Develop programme of recruitment fairs and attendance timetable in conjunction with students
* Involvement in interviewing of employees on graduate and modern apprenticeship scheme
* PPA/TST interpretation to recommend recruitment decisions

Training and Development


* Deliver induction training
* Hold 1st & 3rd month review meetings
* Administration of recruitment process including arranging interviews and testing
* Prepare offers of employment and contracts of employment
* Collect references
* Collate starter packs
* Arrange induction programme
* Assist in the development and delivery of personal skills programmes Professional Training:
* Make arrangements for all internal and external training courses
* Maintain records of all training activity
* Develop, and progress, team training plans following completion of the annual appraisal process
* Plan, communicate and monitor the ongoing CPD for partners and qualified staff and collate annual declarations
* Prepare monthly reports on Firm wide training activity
* To arrange and carry out exit interviews and monitor and action feedback received

You will also provide advice on grievance and disciplinary issues, attending meetings as necessary and work closely with the HR Manager in the development of the appraisal process

You will diarise and forward documentation relating to probationary periods External HR Services (outsourced HR To assist in the delivery of HR services by providing quality advice to clients on HR compliance issues (over the phone/via email/Face to face)

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced HR generalist with extensive casework management, training and development and recruitment expertise. This would be a great opportunity for candidates looking to diversify their sector experience across my clients varied customer base and take on a hybrid internal and externally focused role.

What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of up to £27,000 DOE and an excellent benefits package.
