Your new company
You will be working as an ER Partner within a Government organisation, until the end of July 2019.
The role is based in Central London and is to cover whilst they recruit permanently. Day rate is either £230 PAYE per day or £260 UMBRELLA per day. Working hours will vary on a daily basis, and will be either 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:30am - 5:30pm. The role will start ASAP and candidates must be available on 1 week's notice or less.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior ER Manager, you will work as part of a team of 12 ER Partners, managing a high volume, complex ER caseload of circa. 50-60 ER cases at one time.
You will not have a specific client group, but will advise any Managers from across the business who call into the team for advice. The aim is to ensure that Managers are following process and following your guidance up to dismissal and Tribunal level. Duties will include managing a complex ER caseload of 50-60 ER cases and logging case progress on SAP, leading on disciplinaries, grievances, bullying and harassment etc, up to dismissal and tribunal, ACAS conciliation and liaising with Unions and attending meetings with Managers to advise on dismissal or medical redeployment.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates must be available on 1 week's notice or less. It is essential that candidates have high volume caseload management experience, up to dismissal and Tribunal level and have worked in Unionised environments.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid on a weekly basis and the role may be extended beyond the 3 months. There may be other more longer term opportunities across the team.
