BeyondAutism is a charity dedicated to empowering people with autism to lead fuller lives through positive educational experiences, training for the people who work with them and support for their families and carers.
We run 2 Independent Special Schools for children aged 4-19, a Post-19 service, Outreach and Training and an Early Years’ service. We are seeking to hire a self-motivated and energetic HR Manager to work with the charity team and lead the HR function within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of generalist skills and will be playing a key role within a small and committed team, supporting the staff team and driving forward the organisation’s strategy.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the CEO, the post holder will be responsible for providing and managing a professional and effective HR service to BeyondAutism. The will post holder will have the responsibility of providing and developing the HR strategy in line with the organisational strategy. As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) this role includes the delivery of a full range of HR interventions while providing high level guidance and support for managers in the resolution of disputes and enhancing individual performance. This role will also provide advice for the SMT on compliance, employment law and best practice so experience of working at a Senior level is essential.
With strong strategic HR and recruitment experience, the ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified and have outstanding knowledge of employment law and best practice. A working knowledge of payroll is also a requirement.
