Are you an employee relations specialist looking to develop your career? Do you want to gain exposure in HR business partnering opportunities?

We are looking for a new People Relations Adviser to join our team and help us beat heartbreak forever. In this job you'll apply your HR knowledge expertise in providing creative solutions to problems and practical advice to managers and staff across the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Providing professional and pragmatic employee relations advice on a range of HR issues, you’ll ensure that all policies and procedures are appropriate for a sector leading organisation. You’ll work closely with our partnering team who you will support, ensuring our internal customers sit at the heart of everything that we do.

About you

You’ll have previous experience of providing practical advice on a range of HR issues to managers and staff across a multi-site complex organisation.

To be successful in this role you’ll have the following experience:
• CIPD qualified (or exceptional HR experience)
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
• Experience of managing all aspects of employee relations, ideally in a large charity environment
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

You’ll work effectively with both paid staff and volunteers and will be able to develop strong and effective working relationships.

With a can-do attitude, being creative to find the best possible outcome for the customer and our cause, you’ll have excellent time management and organisational skills and be able to handle a large case load, and juggle conflicting priorities.

Above all you will be able to demonstrate the delivery of the BHF values; brave, compassionate, driven and informed in our fight for every heartbeat.
