Today, 12 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families, and provides them with clinical, practical, emotional and financial support. You can be a part of helping them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. 

Position: HR Business Partner 
Location: London 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum

About the role: 

Could you be part of Team Young Lives? 

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant HR Business Partner to join our People and Learning Directorate. Combining operational HR with business partnering, you’ll engage our leaders on all areas of People and Learning, including HR, L&D and volunteering. 

Partnering with our Income and Engagement directorate, you will be helping to drive our charity income and awareness by developing clear workforce plans which will help us to smash our strategic goals to support children and young people with cancer. You’ll devise creative solutions to everyday challenges and enjoy coaching our managers to be the best that they can be. 

About you: 

You are an innovative and resilient individual, who challenges constructively and is comfortable working with data and insight to support business decisions. You’re motivated by working as part of a team, acting as a coach and mentor to those around you. Your experience in the world of employee relations, change and People operations combined with your ability to build relationships gives you strong foundations to inspire trust and confidence in you as a partner to this vital area of our charity.
