Our client is a very successful IT services and solutions provider.


Description

Our client near Abingdon has an opportunity for a 12-15 month maternity cover fixed term contract, to work with the senior leadership team across a specific key business area to help realise their plans to grow the business.

You will report into the Group HR Director with a dotted line report into the MD of your business area.

The proactive HR Team partners the business providing forward looking generalist and specialist support across the Group. The HRBP will work with the MD and the SLT acting as a change agent to support the business change programme.

The post holder will be based from the head office in Abingdon but will also travel to regional sites. The HRBP will agree on current business challenges and provide a comprehensive HR plan, aligned with group HR strategy, to enable an engaged, competent and a highly productive workforce. It is essential in such a diverse environment that the organisation can remain a leader in innovation and deliver a wide variety of products with high efficiency through its people.

Working as part of the wider HR team, the HRBP will devise and implement plans to ensure that the business area is prepared to successfully meet the challenges ahead in terms of appropriate structure, talent and capability, resourcing, skills development, staff engagement and performance.

The HRBP works with the business as a true business partner, building a strong performance culture underpinned by:

* Ensuring effective Internal communications strategies are developed and implemented which engage and inform their people.


Profile

To apply for this HR Business Partner role, you will need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

* Strong HR Business Partnering experience, which will ideally include talent and capability, OD, resourcing, skills development, staff engagement and performance, metrics, and leading on HR projects.
* Degree level and CIPD qualified.
* Engagement with a variety of senior stakeholders and the ability to persuade and influence.
* High level of drive.
* Confident with presenting.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* A successful track record of coaching managers.
* You will have a maximum of one month's notice.
* You will be happy to do some UK travel in the delivery of this role.
