My client, a customer services organisation, are currently looking for an Immediately Available HR Advisor on an interim basis to support them whilst they are going through a period of change. The role is based North of Birmingham and will be for a minimum of 4 weeks.
As the successful Interim HR Advisor you will need to have a strong generalist background with excellent employee relations experience across all levels. You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries to the business and will be accountable for all workload including administration.
Responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining an awareness of current HR legislation and employment law
* Assisting the development and maintenance of HR systems
* Promoting positive workplace Employee Relations and resolving issues when they arise
* Conducting investigations, disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings - holding these where necessary
* Providing advice to managers on policies and procedures
* Providing advice to employees and managers on general HR issues
* Ad hoc projects and general administration tasks as required
It would be highly beneficial for you to have:
* CIPD Qualification (desirable)
* 3 years' minimum experience at a HR Advisor level
* Experience of using HR databases
* Experience of advising on employment law, policies and procedures
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* In depth knowledge of employee relations processes and procedures
* Ability to be proactive and to use initiative is essential
