In this role you will be part of the team that leads in the configuration, implementation and adoption of a new learning system focused on improving the impact of the learning we offer and strengthening our learner experience and engagement.
The Role
This role also provides a great opportunity to create bold, engaging and outcome driven learning solutions that will help address the capability gaps identified in our workforce strategy. That means driving the design of blended learning experiences, from high-energy workshops and learning events, to online and virtual resources. You will work with various teams within our Organisation Development and People function and across the Council, providing sound expertise to improve the learner experience.
Knowledge, skills and experience
About You
You will need to have experience in supporting the configuration and implementation of learning management systems/learning content platforms or any other learning technology solution to improve learner experience across complex organisations..
With a highly collaborative approach and a track record of co-creating learning solutions with clients and learners for a variety of different audiences you will have a strong track record of designing and implementing a variety of learner engagement campaigns. You will need to be able to demonstrate your experience in creating opportunities for experiential learning and social learning, as well as content curation and creation. This will include authoring online content, interaction design, learner and user journeys and piloting and experimenting.
Qualification certificates should be brought to interview.
As part of employment with Essex County Council (ECC) should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
