Looking for your next step as a HR generalist? Interested in working for a busy, growing organisation? If so, we may have what you're looking for.

Our HR team supports a wide range of business customers in our regulated business as well as a number of other organisations within the Wessex Water Group of companies. Our work covers all aspects of HR and we partner closely with the business to ensure we deliver the excellent service that Wessex Water is known for. Over the past few years, our business has grown and developed rapidly. This means that our people needs have grown and developed too, and we are now expanding our HR team accordingly.

As an HR adviser, you'll be part of a small team supporting the business on a wide range of HR issues. You will work closely with your HR business partner and tailor the support you give to suit different customers' needs. Day to day, this means working independently and providing advice and guidance to line managers, handling all employee relations case management issues, helping to implement policy changes and project work, and generally ensuring the smooth running of people matters.

To meet the requirements of this challenging role, you will already be in a similar job and you'll have experience in dealing with employee relations case management, general HR and recruitment. Your experience means you'll be confident dealing with all levels of stakeholders to provide HR advice and guidance over the full range of HR disciplines. Ideally, you will have relevant HR qualifications or will be working towards them. You will need excellent communication skills together with good IT skills - especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Above all, we're looking for people with a positive attitude who'll fit in with our friendly and supportive team.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including:

* Defined contribution pension scheme
* 24 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service
* Life insurance
* Cycle2Work scheme
* Tax-free childcare government scheme
* Paid volunteering leave
* Discounts and cashback scheme from more than 1,200 high street and online suppliers.

Please remember you must be able to prove your eligibility to work in the UK and provide evidence of qualifications gained. All offers of employment will be subject to a Basic Disclosure Criminal Records check.

We're happy to talk flexible working - in association with Working Families
