Your new company

My client are a highly successful and longstanding business supplying products across the UK from their head office in Telford. They are now looking to hire an experienced L & D Partner to join their team, responsible for the design and delivery of the training plan and creation of a company wide training strategy.


Your new role

The role will focus on embedding a performance culture through the principle of - Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Staff Integration, Career Conversations, On-going self-assessments and performance reviews that will assist the leadership team to drive sustainable business growth through their people and resources.

What you'll do


* To work and communicate with all stakeholders across the business to deliver effective solutions that are understood and deliver the best possible outcome for business challenges.
* You will embed a strong performance culture and deliver best practice frameworks for ongoing performance reviews linked to the business objectives.
* You will be responsible for implementing a robust succession and talent planning programme.
* To support the identification of high performing and high potential individuals at all levels and make sure proactive plans are in place to support their career development.
* As well as supporting behavioural and cultural change, you will help the business to maximise the capability of our people and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
* To contribute to the induction of new employees to the business to ensure they are clear of our expectations and values
* You will support objective setting and performance improvement interventions, identifying and addressing skills gaps, career development based on performance reviews.
* You will be responsible for the design or source the delivery of appropriate training for best practice and performance across all levels of the business.
* You will be responsible for KPI reporting successes, feedback and outcomes and provide analytical reporting for senior leaders.
* Act as an ambassador for the HR team and work collaboratively with the Group HR Director to deliver the right employee solutions for the business.


What you'll need to succeed



* A Chartered Membership of the CIPD (or working towards it) as well as evidence of continuous professional development.
* Experience of embedding a performance management culture
* A good understanding of succession and talent mapping and employee engagement.
* Commercially aware with a proven track record of good project management

* Experience of delivering employee development training, coaching and mentoring
* Have a proven track record of advising and supporting senior stakeholders within area of responsibility

* Demonstrate a proactive and forward-thinking attitude with the ability to spot future challenges and take appropriate action.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to influence decisions.
* Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to plan strategically in the medium and long-term with the ability to deliver strong results to demanding deadlines.
* Experience of implementing IIP framework would be advantageous
* Above all, you'll need to be willing to make a difference



What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of c£45,000-£50,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
