HR Business Partner / Human Resources BP / HR Generalist
Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 pro-rata
Location: Bingley, West Yorkshire
Fixed term for 12 months, maternity cover
Part time, 24hrs over 4 days ideally, but flexible

The Role:
Are you an experienced Business Partner, looking for a part-time opportunity? (Ideally 24 hours over 4 days, but we're flexible.)

Are you able to quickly adapt to a new working environment and build good relations and credibility from the offset?

Working as part of a lively and proactive generalist team, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to drive the delivery of the HR Strategy and ensure that our client deliver a great place to work for their employees. You will support Line Managers in respect of HR processes and team development (with support from your L&D colleagues) and be responsible for the implementation and success of HR policies and initiatives. Ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, you will work across a range of activities within a busy and fast paced environment with a strong focus on employee relations.

Although this is a fixed term contract for 12 months, to provide cover for a period of maternity leave, it is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a great team and deliver on a variety of initiatives within a global company that will deepen your career knowledge and experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of HR policy and process
  • Provide employees with information regarding Company policies, procedures and benefits.
  • Performance Management; provide advice and guidance to the managers to support them in dealing with difficult performance issues.
  • Be an advocate of employee engagement as a means of improving performance and customer service
  • Work in partnership with line management to provide advice on complex and confidential employee cases
  • Involvement in team projects capacity permitting


Who our client are looking for:

  • HR generalist experience required
  • Knowledge of employment law and implications
  • Personable with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels

  • Ability to meet deadlines and to maintain stable performance under pressure
