Job Details

Aspiring to be the Employer of Choice in this sector, this business is seeking a new HR Manager to lead a team and drive the employee value proposition across it’s 11 sites.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the HR Manager will have strategic input into the people agenda and business strategy ensuring the business continues to thrive in a highly competitive market.

As a generalist, the HR Manager’s remit will include:

  • HR Operations – managing performance, driving employee engagement, leading on change management and conducting employee surveys.
  • Employee Relations – supporting line managers, being the point of escalation, complex case management, representing the business at tribunals when necessary.
  • Recruitment – strategically leading the recruitment function to ensure a continuous talent pipeline, EVP and retention strategies are in place.
  • Policy & Procedure – remaining up to date with employment legislation, procedures and continual professional development.
  • Team Management – managing HR and Recruitment Advisors, developing capability and managing staff welfare and well-being.
  • Strategic Management – as member of the SLT contribute to the overall business strategy, plans and budgets.

Reporting to the CEO, this role will influence the culture of the business, ensuring it continues to strive to be a leading employer in the sector and it’s community. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and have experience of management stakeholder relationships at a senior level. Excellence in employment law and it’s application practically as well as a proven ability to manage complex and multiple ER cases is key.  Previous experience of working across multiple locations (within Hampshire and Dorset) and managing the recruitment function is also sought.
