Communications Officer for a public sector corporation based in Exeter.

Your new company

A large public sector corporation is looking for a Communications Officer to join their team on an interim basis for an approximate period of 3 months. Based in Exeter, you will be joining at an extremely busy time and one of change.

Your new role

You will be supporting the campaigns and daily communications activity and possess the following skills and knowledge:

* Ability to create a variety of content to target both internal and external audiences
* Demonstrable experience in the building of relationships with the media in order to relay effective communications
* Experience of analysing communications activity and the reporting of findings
* Digital knowledge and the ability to use a mix of media / social media technologies

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be confident, reliable, hardworking and have excellent communication and organisational skills. An understanding of communication techniques, knowledge of how the public sector works and previous experience of working within a communications role is imperative.
