A Government Body located in Canary Wharf is looking for a Recruitment Assistant for a 4 months contract.

Your new company
A well-established Government Body in Canary Wharf is looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join their team for a 4 months contract. This is a full-time role, 37 hours a week and is paying £12.65 per hour via PAYE or £14.03 per hour via Umbrella company.

Your new role
You will report to the Recruitment Advisor to support them in the delivery of an effective recruitment process. As Recruitment Assistant, you will be responsible for the arrangements of interviews, ensure candidates are compliant, write and send out offer contracts in a timely manner. You will be the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries. Additionally, you will manage the applicant tracking system to ensure it is up to date.

As an individual, you will have excellent communication and time management skills to successfully deliver strong assistance in the recruitment process.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, candidates must have previous experience of working in an in-house recruitment role, where you have recruited and resourced for high volume campaigns. You will have strong knowledge of using ATS (Taleo) and ideally, you will have experience of working in a project-based role. Furthermore, a wider understanding of HR and Recruitment employment legislation will be highly desirable.
