Your new company
A leading and very successful Law Firm is recruiting to a new HR Advisor job role following very successful growth in a number of regional offices, meaning it is now the right time to establish more permanent HR presence based from their central Leeds office.

This role is part of a national HR team and involves providing the wider business with generalist HR and recruitment support relating to legally qualified staff, Trainee Solicitors, Business Services staff and Paralegals.

Your new role
Alongside another HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing generalist support to the HR Business Partners across all divisions and locations. The job is very varied and will predominantly involve providing advice and guidance to Managers on all Employee Relations matters, with particular emphasis on absence management and performance management, along with line managing a Resourcing Coordinator and getting involved in all aspects of internal recruitment for the Leeds site. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in supporting the HR Business Partners on various strategic projects including a Diversity & inclusion project, appraisal reviews and policy / procedures updates.

To be successful in this job, you will already have a good grounding in HR, having worked as a HR Assistant or HR Officer previously, with a good understanding of employment law and ER casework experience. Experience working in a resourcing and recruitment capacity is also ideal, as you will be involved in running with the Graduate Recruitment and Talent Acquisition programme.
Ideally you will have worked in a professional services sector before, either legal, financial or similar, and so understand the way Partnerships work. However we welcome strong applications from other sectors also. You will be a good communicator, who is able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and employees, and be highly organised.
