Talent Advisor - 6 month contract - Cambridge

Your new company
Our client based in Cambridge are a global organisation and market leaders within their field. They are looking for 2 experienced Talent Advisors to support the recruitment strategy in their IT function on a 6 month contract basis.


Your new role
This role will be working with senior managers within the business, therefore stakeholder management is key to the success of this role. Job responsibilities include:

* Partner with a number of senior IT teams to bring efficiency to the recruitment process and effectively contribute to good hiring decisions.
* Be the key point of liaison between the IT teams and the Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring role and candidate briefs are fully understood and there is a recruitment strategy in place for each role (e.g. internal and/or external, agency, campaign etc.)
* Understanding the brief, you will be responsible for working on behalf of the senior IT teams to:

* Screen initial CVs - providing feedback on what requirements are being met and not
* Conduct telephone screens on potential candidates, on behalf of the recruiting manager
* Compile a strong shortlist
* Support interview arrangements & diary management, on behalf of the hiring managers/interviewing panel
* Gather feedback from hiring managers/interviewing panels to ensure candidates receive feedback quickly

What you'll need to succeed

* Previous experience working in an internal resourcing role or similar
* Proven ability to quickly understand manager briefs and translate that to all necessary parties
* Previous experience of effectively project managing similar activities to drive positive outcomes
* Effective at building relationships quickly
* Proven experience working well with senior stakeholders and challenging where necessary
* Ability to manage high volumes workload at pace

The ideal candidate will be available to start this role as soon as possible with a maximum of 2 weeks notice. A competitive day rate and flexible working are available for the successful candidate.
