This global corporation is a leader in the manufacturing industry and is based in the heart of Somerset. They are an employer of choice committed to the development of a skilled and diverse workforce and are looking for a permanent Procurement Contracts Specialist to join their team.
Your new role
Taking the lead in the day to day management of suppliers you will be negotiating and managing supplier contracts for performance of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for a range of equipment. You will be required to increase profitability whilst maintaining focus on asset availability.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrable experience in contract negotiation and development and have experience in working autonomously. Essentially you will be an experienced procurement professional and have worked in a supplier or a customer facing role preferably within the engineering or military industry. Contract development and negotiation is a must as well as an aptitude in the effective development of relationships with key stakeholders.
