Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is the leading local nature conservation charity and is one of the largest of the county-based Wildlife Trusts with a lively, dedicated and passionate team of just over 100 staff and around 1400 volunteers.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a qualified HR Business Partner to oversee all human resources operations of the Trust and ensure they’re aligned with our business goals.

The role would suit someone who loves variety as every day is different - from developing our people strategy and policy development, developing training and induction programmes, overseeing the day to day function of HR department, coaching managers on a range of topics to managing HR projects and writing reports around HR metrics.

Our ideal candidate should have solid experience with HR practices and employee management, as you will provide management and support to the Senior HR Officer and two HR Assistants in the full employee and volunteer lifecycle. You will also have experience of working at a senior strategic level as you will be working closely with the CEO and Executive team and Trustees to identify, lead and implement a People Strategy considering budget limitations and our Trust’s culture.

The role will be part of the Business Resources team working for the Director of Finance and Resources.  You should enjoy working in an ever changing and busy environment with an ability to be flexible, approachable, work effectively with a team and individually, provide a high-level service and respond to pressing needs, meet deadlines and prioritise efficiently. This is a ‘customer’ facing support role, with daily interaction with staff & volunteers and so the ability to build excellent relationships is vital.

With our people being at the heart of our organisation, the ability to build strong relationships at all levels is essential so if you are a confident communicator and who has a passion for people we would love to hear from you.

Hampshire and IOW Wildlife Trust is an equal opportunities employer and  all candidates will be assessed on merit.

Closing date:  Monday 1st July 12pm.
Interviews:  Monday 8th July

We require complete application forms only, CV’s will not be accepted.
