Human Resources Advisor

£26,724 - £32,882

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year; we will also consider part time working.

As part of a busy Human Resources team, you will provide credible, confidential and customer focused advice and guidance to staff and managers on a range of staffing issues.   You will lead on a range of organisational change issues as well as manage a busy employee relations caseload.   As an HR Advisor, you will work partly in Chichester where the group HR team is based, and, for approximately two days per week, at our Crawley College Campus, where you will be working independently, supported by the HR team in Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity to develop yourself personally by providing an HR presence at the campus, and building effective, credible working relationships with staff at all levels. 

In addition, you will support the Chichester College Group on a range of HR projects, you will support the achievement of our equality and diversity aims and objectives, and develop and review Human Resources policies and procedures, in line with legislation and best practice.

We are looking for a CIPD qualified professional, with excellent, relevant experience in providing HR support and advice.  You will have up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and a working knowledge of Human Resources computerised systems. In addition, you will have comprehensive experience of providing Human Resources advice within an organisation, using probing and coaching techniques to gather information and applying analytical skills to make decisions, as well as experience of designing and delivering training on Human Resources related subjects.
