Salary:  LTD £44632 - £48788

Start date: As soon as possible

The Laurus Trust is a successful and rapidly expanding multi-academy trust with a reputation for outstanding teaching and learning.

We have a strong heritage. Our founder school, Cheadle Hulme High School, has been judged as Outstanding in its last two Ofsted inspections. Gorsey Bank is a high performing primary in Wilmslow and we are also home to the Altius Alliance, a teacher training provider which has been given the top grade by Ofsted.

As a result of our success, we are proud to have been selected to open five brand new schools across Greater Manchester, three of which opened in September 2018.

This is, therefore, an important stage in the development of The Laurus Trust. With our growth comes the opportunity for talented staff to make their mark.  We believe that our schools’ greatest strength are the staff within them and that at the heart of our success is the passionate belief in the importance of professional learning for all our staff.

The Senior HR Manager will lead a growing team of HR professionals working to deliver an outstanding service to all schools within the Laurus Trust.

The ideal candidate will:

  • have significant experience of working within HR and leading, motivating and managing a team of professional staff to provide a strategic and operational HR function.
  • have experience of working in a fast paced, environment where HR has made a significant contribution to the success of the organisation.
  • have the ability to make sound judgements and assess potential problems at both strategic and operational level.

This a permanent, full time, full year position. 

Hours: 37 per week
