Human Resources Business Partner

Band 8a (£44,606 - £50,819 per annum)

Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week PART TIME HOURS CONSIDERED

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, is a University Teaching Hospital; we conduct research and teaching on site to improve the care of our patients . The hospital is undergoing significant  investment and development including a new surgical ward, a new main entrance (allowing expansion of A&E services),  a new Academic Centre and a planned new Cancer Centre.

As the senior accountable HR lead professional to a Division, you will provide excellent strategic HR advice and guidance on the full range of workforce issues including; employee relations, recruitment and retention, attendance, change management, workforce planning, talent management, medical staffing, terms and conditions of employment and policies and procedures.

Working as a member of the Trust’s senior HR team, you will also be the Workforce Lead for at least one of our key deliverables such as Policy Development, Job Evaluation, and Employee Engagement.  You will be delivering on our strategic goals, planning and creating initiatives that support the workforce agenda and keeping us compliant with statutory requirements..

You must have HR experience at a senior level within a complex and unionised environment, preferably gained within the NHS, although this is not essential. You will have the ability to establish immediate business-focused credibility at all levels and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a creativity of approach to HR solutions.
