Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours)

Our client works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Coventry, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the Wyre Forest.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager to lead and manage their strategic objectives to ensure the L&D function provides a high quality support service. Working with senior management you’ll focus on developing and implementing integrated training strategies, actively engaging with internal and external providers to promote a continuous improvement culture. 

Providing line management to the L&D Officer you’ll ensure compliance with best practices and organisational policies and procedures, in addition to establishing and implementing a network of partners through collaboration with relevant organisations and individuals. You’ll manage the L&D budget, provide L&D statistical information, lead on the implementation of the apprenticeship levy and will work alongside the management team to recruit and involve apprentices. 

They are looking for someone who is educated and experienced in providing learning and development opportunities, with experience of managing an L&D function and advising senior managers on L&D issues and working with them to develop programmes.
