Head of People and Culture
Salary £45,000-£48,000 FTE
The Museum’s staff and volunteers are at the heart of our organisation. With this in mind we have brought together the Human Resources and Volunteer Management functions to create a new People and Culture team.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic HR professional to lead, manage and develop this new team to deliver a People & Culture strategy which will drive and inspire our staff and volunteers. This is a great opportunity, for the right individual, to significantly contribute to the development of the Museum’s workforce and the shaping of its culture.
These are exciting times for Black Country Living Museum, with record-breaking visitor attendance and an increasingly popular events offer. As if that wasn’t enough, to enable us to keep doing the things we do best, we are also about to embark upon the single largest development in our 40-year history, with a £23m investment, taking our story into the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of growing and developing charitable heritage organisation, offering a fresh challenge and the prospect of working in an unique and exciting environment.
The vacancy is for a full time position (37.5 hours per week) however we recognise to recruit the best and most suitable candidate, that individual may require or prefer a reduced working week.
Closing date: Midday, Monday 22 July 2019
