Head of Training (Divisional) – National Role with travel
M4 Corridor/South East

Our client is a fast paced, multi-site business that has grown organically andthrough acquisition. The role of Head of Training is a pivotal role, for a commercially aware individual to ensure a consistent delivery approach with regards to all operational aspects of Mandatory Induction Training and site specific Specialist Training, which shapes and delivers the Training plan for colleagues. Supporting the Director of Learning & Organisational Development, the Head of Training will work with Operations Directors, Regional Managers and site Managers to identify training needs and trends.
As a member of the Divisional leadership team and leading a team of Regional Trainers, you will support the delivery of all elements of continuous professional development to drive a strong culture of learning and engagement whilst managing all elements of the Training programme template and providing detailed and accurate eCademy training registers across multiple sites. Working collaboratively with the Central and wider Learning & Development team, the successful incumbent will be able to demonstrate effective working relationships to ensure alignment, consistency and quality of training delivered across the division.
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced customer facing training professional and strong relationship builder, with a thorough understanding of a regulated environment, ideally the current UK regulated Health & Social Care sector. Commercially astute, with experience of delivery of people and customer centric training solutions based on an understanding of the regulatory landscape, the successful incumbent will also be able to demonstrate effective coaching skills, with the ability to give feedback on both regulatory training and people development matters. The ability to build credibility quickly and contribute to the wider HR agenda will also be required. This role offers an ambitious, self-starter the next step in their Training career, supported by a Director of Learning & Organisational Development.
We are ideally looking for a degree qualified, high potential Training Manager who is able to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt quickly to changing plans and timescales with a knowledge of learning & development theory and the application of different models.
