Head of People and Resources

Centre 404 is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual who flourishes in a busy, diverse role to join us as Head of People and Resources.

You will be working closely with the well-established and experienced CEO to deliver operational management for the Central Service, providing HR expertise and compliance and people management to ensure the following areas are effectively managed, maintained and continually developed:

  • Human Resources and Personnel Management Premises
  • IT and Facilities Management
  • Volunteers and Communications Management
  • Finance and Company Administration

We are looking for a bright, talented HR professional who is able to demonstrate a positive and pragmatic approach, as well as a solutions-focused work ethic and strong strategic planning skills. In addition, they will be able to use initiative, discretion and integrity and build professional, confidential and mutually trusting relationships.

As this is a broad role, we do not expect candidates to have experience in every area of responsibility. In the absence of direct experience, we would be looking for the right competencies, behaviours and attitude to fulfil the requirements of the role.
