A flexible HR (ER) Advisor to join a leading organisation in Southampton.

Your new company

My client are one of the largest providers of financial services in the UK and internationally, working on behalf of almost 1 million customers.The business has 2 main parts: Wealth Management and Advice.

Your new role

The business are keen to add an adaptable HR professional with particular expertise in Employee Relations to their team in Southampton. Reporting to an experienced Employee Relations Manager, this role will efficiently and effectively deliver HR professional advice and support to the business areas across the organisation.

The successful candidate will manage Employer Relations case work including: grievances, disciplinaries, performance, sickness and dismissals (20 cases maximum). You will also be responsible for HR change, supporting HR change projects eg working with HRBP on restructure/tupe/redundancy - so you will be responsible for the consultation process too.

This is a Fixed Term Contract between 3-9 months, with the potential to become a permanent, full-time position. Working hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be educated to Diploma Level or equivalent, but it is essential that you hold CIPD Level 5. Having worked in a financial services/retail environment will be an advantage, but different sectors will be considered.

This role will suit a proactive person with strong experience of complex ER/change issues, with proven ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels of a business.
