Hays HR are recruiting exclusively for our client; A leading UK & Ireland services provider, who are seeking to appoint a Work Based Learning Coordinator to be based out of their Caerphilly office.

Your new role
Role description & responsibilities:

* Co-ordination of the processes that are in place for our current levy funded programmes
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to design and implement processes to support newly developed levy funded programmes
* Assist with the identification and selection of Apprentices with the Resourcing team
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about all aspects of the levy funded programmes and work based learning projects.
* Provide mentoring and coaching support to learners
* Keep up to date with changes to national awarding bodies, standards etc.
* Manage the levy administration
* Develop a reporting process to track spend of the Levy and ensure we are within our monthly limit, and progress of our learners.
* Provide support and advice to support the external provider, the employer/line manager and the learner as part of the three-way review process

What you'll need to succeed
Required skills and experience

* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft office, especially excel
* You can work on your own initiative and are an effective member of the team who engenders high performance team working when working with others
* Experience of working with Welsh Government funding administration processes and Apprenticeship levy programmes and the supporting administration processes
* Excellent communication and written skills
* Self-motivated, professional and enthusiastic individual
* You have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work to deadlines
* You are able to work on your own initiative and are an effective member of the team who engenders high performance team working when working with others
