Description

£69,855 per annum hour for 36 hours per week based at County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 2DN. This position is based inside one of our main area offices, click HERE to see a 360 degree view of the building and surrounding area along with a view of the reception. We are looking to relocate back into the county by 2020. A key member of the HR&OD leadership team, you will play a critical role leading the development and delivery of a dynamic approach to organisational effectiveness and development.

You will blend performance, employee experience and wellbeing, change, organisational design, leadership development, talent management and OD to truly impact upon critical capabilities and performance council-wide.

As a senior leader in HR&OD, developing a cohesive and integrated function that effectively delves into and resolves crucial challenges across the people agenda will be a key outcome.

Educated to post graduate level in an HR&OD related field or equivalent level, you will have experience of leading in a complex environment. You will have extensive knowledge and ability to apply behavioural science, OD theory, L&D, change leadership and organisational design. Being curious, adaptable, creative and resilient is key.

As a leader, you will inspire, motivate and coach both individuals and the team to think and act differently, be confident and focus on best fit solutions. Your high business acumen, collaborative approach and business consulting skills will enable you to truly partner with the organisation.
