We are looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner who has the skills & passion to support the HR department in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the people agenda within the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, to join our team by working collaboratively with those involved.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Working with MCA Senior Leaders to deliver their business objectives by ensuring they have HR interventions and strategies in place to improve organisational performance, capability and skills to create a high-performance workplace, ensuring full consideration is given to people issues (e.g. TUPE, Organisation Design and Development, Trade Union Consultation, redeployment) and compliance with legal requirements.
• Coach and support managers to improve their leadership and capability to manage performance effectively.
• Collaborating with the business to fully understand the key business performance issues, objectives and drivers, and associated people requirements for both the current and future business challenges in order to develop a business-focused people plan which supports the delivery of business objectives.
