My client is a leading global organisation in Engineering.


Description

YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE TO INTERVIEW AND (IDEALLY) START IMMEDIATELY.

This HR Business Partner, reporting into the Head of HR, will be project biased and support on other BAU initiatives.

Projects that you will look to manage are;

* HRIS Implementation: The implementation of SAP SuccessFactors. This role is part of the overall PMO of the ERP implementation, but as the HR specialist you will manage the integration of processes and manage the testing and evaluation phase

* IR35 Implementing: Due to the changes of legislation in how IR35 will impact the private sector, you will need to manage the implementation of the end-to-end project. You will need to; Understand the reach of the legislative requirements; Engage and communicate with business and HR stakeholders to define what winning looks like; Identify in scope employees (Personal Service Company, PSC, workers) directly and via third parties; Understand where Pay As You Earn (PAYE) and social security deductions (NICs) are appropriate, and the steps that need to be taken to ensure that the business is compliance; Evaluate key policy decisions; establish and implement a strategic response i.e. determining how employment status will be assessed and managed; Complete impact assessments (financial and non-financial); escalating as required, but owning asks and actions

This is a highly unionised engineering and manufacturing environment.


Profile

As a HR Business Partner, you will be confident and assertive - with an outgoing personality and an informal, yet professional style. You must be able to communicate effectively to all areas of the business; grassroots to leadership.

Understanding the business operations, the talent employed and the strategic focus the business, you will be a natural business advisor to the leadership team. As an HR leader, you will be the moral compass of the business, and look to evolve behaviours at all levels - within the HR team, and within the wider business.

You will be equipped with an astute toolkit which will enable you to manage projects;

* Project Management

* HRIS Implementation and evaluation

* Strong UK Employment Law knowledge

* Understanding and working knowledge of a 24/7 environment

* Trade Union relationship management

You must have experience within a fast-paced, dynamic and unionised environment, which you have taken through a transformative journey.

You will ideally be Chartered CIPD membership (MCIPD) or at least Associate CIPD Level 7 to be considered for this role.


Job Offer

£50,000 per annum (potentially more, dependent on experience)
