HR Administrator - Fixed Term Contract

Your new company

Working for an established manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Preston with over forty years' experience in supporting recognised products. This organisation have over 500 employees across two sites and this role will be to support the organisation on a fixed term contract basis to cover a 6-9 month maternity cover.

Your new role

* Daily maintenance of HR records / data base to ensure management information is readily available.
* General administration duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
* Preparing and issuing HR related letters/communications for all staff.
* Preparing standard recruitment materials.
* Preparing reception cover as required and assisting with the answering of external calls.
* Entering all training records and notifying relevant managers when competency levels have been completed.
* Responsible for maintaining the training platform and managing the launching of training campaigns and refreshers as required.
* Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of employee training files e.g. filing records, removing leavers to archive.
* Scheduling reviews for new employees.
* Submission of time sheets to agencies.
* Arranging H&S inductions for new starters.
* Preparing reports as required.
* Any other HR or Training related duties as required.
* Providing occupational health and Employee Assistance Programme with current data

What you'll need to succeed

* Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills.
* Good IT skills essential with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* The ability to maintain the confidentiality of the information
* Attention to detail
